Alexander K. Aust, M.S., M.B.A, Founder

Alex has spent the majority of his career working in various roles related to the manufacture of complex parenteral drug products, with a focus on drug delivery systems (DDS). The majority of this time has been spent focusing on polymers and lipid-based nanocarriers (e.g., lipid nanoparticles (LNPs), liposomes, suspensions, emulsions, exosomes, PEG, inorganic nanoparticles, etc.) to encapsulate mRNA, small molecules, large molecules, and other oligonucleotides.

Alex earned his M.B.A from Ball State University with a concentration on Manufacturing and Production Management. Previous to this, he obtained an M.S. from Purdue University while studying Molecular and Cellular Biology; his undergraduate studies were completed at the University of Southern Indiana; where he majored in Biology and minored in History.

Alex’s experience includes executing dozens of technology transfers at various stages of the product lifecycle, from Pre-Clinical through Commercial. He has been in roles that include working in and with various CDMOs, CROs, Big Pharma, and startups to perform different functions, such as: CMC Consulting, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Regulatory, Validation Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Development, Project Management, Construction, and Commercial Development.

Haley A. Aust, P.H.R, Founder

Haley is an award-winning Human Resources Strategist with extensive knowledge and experience in People Operations, Culture and Engagement and Employment Law. She is a mindful, adaptive, "roll up the sleeves" leader who works closely with teams to both impact and shape their workplace into purpose-driven organizations. She confidently translates each client’s business plan into strategic HR initiatives, driving their ability to attract, engage and retain a high-performing workforce.

She received her Bachelor of Science in the field of Health Care Administration from Indiana University. Haley later received her certification as a Professional in Human Resources. Her time has been spent honing her expertise in various industries, such as: health care, tech, law, and asset management.

Haley intentionally challenges the status quo through collaborating with key leaders to identify trends and drive transformational change. As a high-level individual contributor and mindful leader, Haley enjoys helping small to mid-sized companies build cultures of accountability and engagement.

Natalie Gosnell, drug delivery systems expert, consultant, business development

Natalie Gosnell

Natalie has over 5 years of experience in manufacturing of early phase lipid-based drug products. Previously Director of Manufacturing at a CDMO, Natalie acted as the head of Bulk Formulation and Aseptic Fill/Finish. She has executed technology transfers to support client’s pre-clinical and clinical studies including the tech transfer of a clinical COVID vaccine into GMP production.

Natalie can provide hands-on-support in ISO 7 and ISO 5 manufacturing suites, oversee validation implementation, perform technical recruiting, lead investigations into deviations, discrepancies, etc., and assist in authoring batch records, leading design controls projects, and authoring and training on standard operating procedures among other things.


Natalie has a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from The University of Tennessee and is a candidate for Master's in Business Administration from The University of Tennessee. 

Mark Chivers

Mark is a prominent research scientist in the pharmaceutical industry with experience in manufacturing technical support, protein purification, aseptic formulation development and validation, and aseptic fill/finish process development and validation. 

During his 16 year career as a Research Scientist at Eli Lilly and Company, he performed clinical trial pilot plant design, start up and validation. He also oversaw and managed production of clinical trial API (monoclonal antibody).  His duties extended to equipment validation, process validation, development and pilot scale demonstration of purification processes (ex. insulin) and lab scale process modeling. 

Mark can assist with regulatory and audit support, root cause analysis, technical writing and patent authoring. 

Mark has a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering  from The University of Colorado at Boulder and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Missouri at Columbia.
